RUTH ARMITAGE After graduating from the Joseph Metcalf Junior High School, "Ruthie" came to Holyoke High where she was enrolled in the Commercial Course. While at high school, she was on the Yearbook staff, and active in the Rooters Club. She was an enthusiastic fan of all our school games: football, basketball, and baseball. Her favorite pastimes are ice skating and knitting. After graduation she plans to do secretarial work. Baby Picture. |

ROBERT T. ASHE "Bob" is a graduate of Lawrence School. He is an ardent coin collector and also has a fine stamp collection. Bob intends to join the marines after graduation. |

ALINE A. AUTHIER Aline, a student of Holyoke High for three years, has studies the Commercial Course. A graduate of the Immaculate Conception School, she was an active member of the Rooters' Club. For her hobby, she enjoys collecting photographs and various souvenirs. She devotes her spare time to roller skating. After graduation, she expects to do secretarial work. |

JOY M. BACON Joy, one of the active members of Holyoke High's famous debating team was a graduate of the Highland School. She was a member of the Herald Staff and also a faithful member of the Rooters' Club for three years. Her favorite sports include football, basketball, and baseball. During her spare time "Joy" enjoys golfing, dancing, bowling, and knitting. She plans to attend college. Baby Picture. |
