THOMAS S. BURNS

"Tom" is a graduate of Highland Junior High. He has been outstanding in athletics for the past three years. He was captain and star guard on the football team this year. Tom is also active in basketball and debating. His favorite pastimes are billiards and pool. Tom intends joining the Air Force after graduation. Baby Picture.

"Jack" is a graduate of Metcalf. He is a fine student and a good athlete. His favorite sport is baseball. His hobby is collecting post cards. After graduation "Jack" intends to go to school.
JOYCE M. CANTIN
JOYCE M. CANTIN

Joyce came to us as a graduate of H.B. Lawrence Junior High School. She has been an active member of the Rooters' and Dramatic Clubs. Besides being an excellent seamstress, Joyce likes sports, especially bowling and ice skating. She loves to dance also. She studies the Commercial Course and intends to enter business school.
MILDRED C. CAREY
MILDRED C. CAREY
Mildred entered high school from Blessed Sacrament School. She is a very talented and active girl and held membership in the Rooters', Dramatic and Forum Clubs. She loves sports, especially swimming, bike riding, and ping-pong, and in the line of hobbies, Mildred collects stamps. We are justifiably proud of her fine writing talent as she won second prize in the Irish History Contest. She was also the recipient of the first prize in the library contest for the past three years. In addition, Mildred has been Editor-in-Chief of the Herald. She will successfully carry on her study of writing in college.
