ETHEL F. GRIFFIN Ethel Griffin, "Griff" to her friends, came to Holyoke High from Blessed Sacrament School. She belongs to the Rooters' Club and Dramatic Clubs, and outside of school enjoys swimming, horse-back riding and badge collecting. She intends to train for the nursing profession. |

RENATO R. GRUMOLI "Bucky", a Lawrence graduate, was a member of the championship 1944 basketball team, and the star center on this year's team. He also plays on the baseball team. He is taking the General Course and plans to attend a "prep" school. Baby Picture. |

JOAN L. HAFEY Joan entered Holyoke High after graduating from the Joseph Metcalf Junior High School. She served as a very efficient secretary for the Student Council during her Junior year. She belongs to the Forum, Dramatic, and Rooters' Clubs, is a member of the Yearbook Staff, and writes for the Herald. Outside school, Joan loves swimming, tennis, and ice skating. She has studied the College Preparatory Course here, but she has not yet decided where she will go after graduation. Baby Picture. |

FRANCIS M. HAGUE Frances Hague came to H.H.S. from H. B. Lawrence Junior High. In her leisure hours she enjoys reading and sewing. Frannie expects to follow up her Commercial Course by going to business college after graduation. |
