"Andy" is a product of Highland School. While at Holyoke High School, his favorite sports were football and hockey. He spent much of his spare time hunting and fishing. Before leaving to join Uncle Sam's hard-hitting Paratroopers, "Andy" was taking a College Course.

Attractive Betty Hicks came to the Alma Mater from Highland Junior High. At H.H.S. she took the Commercial Course, belonged to the Dramatic Club, and was on the Herald Staff. Swimming, dancing, tennis, and golf are her favorite recreations. After graduation she will go on to Junior College. Baby Picture.

PATRICIA A. HILL

With her friendly manner and pleasing personality, "Patti" has brought a great deal of joy to our class. She was a member of the Rooters' Club and a faithful fan at our school basketball games. Aside from school, she is greatly interested in collecting miniature horses, skating, horseback riding, and swimming. "Patti" plans to attend Westbrook Junior College.
H. JAY HIRSCH
H. JAY HIRSCH

A graduate of the Joseph Metcalf School, Jay is taking the College Preparatory Course. In his Junior year he was elected President of the Science Club, and he was elected Business Manager of the Annual in his Senior year. In his spare moments he enjoys playing basketball, football, and golf. Being an excellent pianist, he was a key member of Dave Murphy's orchestra. After being graduated, Jay plans to attend college.
