An alumna of Metcalf Junior High is tall "Junie" Hupfer. She likes to read, and her favorite sports are roller-skating and swimming. Junie took the General Course, and will go to business school or work in an office after graduation.
CAROLINE HYTE
CAROLINE HYTE

Caroline entered Holyoke High from the, Lawrence Junior High School. During her Sophomore year, she moved, and last year, reentered Holyoke High from the West Springfield High School. Her favorite sports are swimming, skating, and skiing. As a hobby, Caroline collects pennies, and she enjoys writing letters. "Lynn" took the General Course, and plans to enter business school next year.
SHIRLEY M. IRONSIDE
SHIRLEY M. IRONSIDE

Shirley, who is a graduate of the Joseph Metcalf School, has an easy-going disposition, and is very well liked by everyone. "Shirl" has been active in the Rooters' Club since she entered Holyoke High, and, in addition to attending our games, she enjoys roller skating, swimming, and tennis. She has taken the General Course, and next fall she will enter a business college, where she will surely make good.
JOAN M. JACKLER
JOAN M. JACKLER

Joan entered Holyoke High from the Morgan School. She has been a member of the Rooters' Club for three years, and has been a valuable worker on the business staff of the Herald. Her favorite sports are bowling and swimming. Joan is an outstanding student, and is sure to succeed in future years. She has taken the College Course and plans to go to college next year.
