"Checko" came to Holyoke High from Highlands. He played the football team for three years. We will always remember the "galloping ghost" as he ran down the for a touchdown. His favorite sports were football and basketball. His hobby was making touchdowns for the football team. "Joe" was elected our Class Treasurer before he left for the Army.

"Kel", who came to H.H.S. from Blessed Sacrament, is a member of the Student Council. Basketball and pool are his favorite sports. "Kel" is a very active member of the Royal Rollers' Club. Jim will go to college after graduation.

DOROTHY M. KELMEL

Dorothy, who is a member of the Rooters' Club, has been a loyal athletic fan ever since she entered Holyoke High. "Dottie", who graduated from the Highland Junior High School, also enjoys dancing. She is very friendly and easy to get along with and these qualities have made many friends for her at Holyoke High. "Dottie" took the General Course, and would like to become a nurse.
HELEN T. KENNEDY
HELEN T. KENNEDY

Helen is a graduate of the Joseph Metcalf School. While at Holyoke High, Helen has been a member of the Rooters' Club and the Choir. She enjoys dancing, swimming, and skating. At home Helen likes to write letters, and in spite of the sugar shortage, her favorite pastime is making candy. "Ken," as she is often called, is one of the friendliest girls in our class. Helen has taken the General Course, and will enter the Mercy Hospital to train for nursing. Baby Picture.
