Holyoke High School — Class of 1945

	LINCOLN J. MUIR "Linc" who graduated from Joseph Metcalf Junior High, studied the Pre-Flight Course before entering the U. S. Navy in the earlier part of his senior year. "Linc" was a member of the Music Club. His favorite sports are baseball, basketball, football and skiing. His hobby is collecting golf balls. "Linc" hopes to make aviation his career.
	DENNIS H. MURPHY "Googie", a graduate of the St. Jerome School, is a member of the football and debating teams. Basketball, swimming, and pool are his favorite sports. His hobby is building model airplanes. "Googie", who is a member of the Pre-Flight Course, has already enlisted in the U. S. Army Air Corps.
	EDWARD J. MURPHY "Murph", a graduate of the Blessed Sacrament School, is a member of the College Preparatory Course. He is one of our most colorful and efficient cheerleaders. He also enjoys a good game of basketball or football in his spare time. "Murph" expects to enter the U. S. Navy soon after graduation.
	JOHN F. MURPHY "Murph" is a graduate of the Lawrence Junior High School. He is a member of the Pre-Flight Course at Holyoke High. Swimming and bowling are the sports which take up most of his spare time. He also builds model airplanes. "Murph" will probably enter the U. S. Navy after graduation.
