RAYMOND A. SMITH Raymond was a popular boy at Metcalf and certainly continued as such at high school. One of the best liked boys in the Pre-Flight Course and an outstanding player on their basketball team, he is always surrounded by a group of friends. Ray enjoys aviation and may seek a future in it. |

ANNA J. SMOLEN Anna entered Holyoke High from the Mater Dolorosa School. She is especially fond of movies, dancing, and ice skating. Anna has taken the Commercial Course and after her graduation she intends to work in an office. |

FLORENCE J. SMUTEK "Smitty" came to us from the Mater Dolorosa School. She is an active member of the Rooters' Club, and the Dramatic Club.. Florence is an enthusiastic supporter of all our teams. Her favorite pastimes are tennis, bicycling, bowling, and reading. She plans to enter college after graduation. |

ISOBEL I. SOWINSKI "lzzy" attended the Mater Dolorosa Grammar School and entered Holyoke High as a Freshman. "Izzy" enjoys dancing, skating, and swimming. She is taking a Nurses' Preparatory Course and is planning to be a nurse after she is graduated. |
