DONALD B. YELLE "Don", a Lawrence School graduate, is taking the Technical Industrial Course at High School. He likes all phases of swimming and is an excellent diver. He also enjoys playing football and baseball. Following his graduation, "Don" is going to enter the Navy. |

FRANK M. YESKAY "Pete" is a graduate of Morgan Junior High School. While he isn't busy trying to hold his car together, he enjoys playing football. A member of the Pre-Flight group, "Pete" plans to attend a higher institution after being graduated. |

GERTRUDE A. YOUSE "Gay" came to Holyoke High after graduating from the Plymouth Junior High School, and is taking the Commercial Course. "Gay" likes art, music, and poetry. She has decided that she will get married or be an artist. Baby Picture. |

CAROLYN M. ZEZA "Carrie" attended the Kirby Junior High School, and the Chicopee High School before entering Holvoke High. "Carrie" plays the violin, and likes fishing, ice skating, and dancing. She plans to attend a business school after being graduated. |

LARZER ZIFF Genial "Larz", Holyoke's star end, by his own admission, is Metcalf's gift to Holyoke High School. Taking the College Preparatory Course, he has had a hand in almost everything, as a member of the football and debating teams, and a member of the Forum Club, and also a member of both the Herald and the Annual Staffs. He finds pleasure in writing in his spare time. Upon graduation, "Larz" plans to attend college, |
