Jeremiah F. Ganey

Gentleman and educator, graduate of Amherst College and Boston university graduate school Of education, began his career as an administrator As director of Holyoke's continuation school. Later he became principal of the Lawrence school. From this position he was called to the Holyoke High school. In 1937 he became vice-principal, succeeding the late Arthur J. Macdonald.

Mr. Ganey has been truly a humanitarian. For Years the city of Holyoke has had the good fortune To have his services as head of the family Welfare society. Here in Holyoke high school the boys and girls have found Mr. Ganey always kind And understanding. He has been an outstanding example of devotion to duty.

So, in recognition of his devoted and loyal service to Holyoke High School, the class of 1945 Affectionately and gratefully dedicates this year Book.
