The name of our school newspaper was suggested by Brian Burke, a member of the
staff, in a school-wide contest. Brian's entry was selected as the winner because it suggested that the achievements chronicled in our paper during years to come will "echo" the educational contribution of John J. Lynch after whom our school was named.
The staff of the "Echo" managed to get out only one edition this year, But it was one that established a precedent for future staff members. Miss Sullivan and Mr. Leary were our faculty advisers.
