Radio Broadcast

On Friday, April 2, 1953, a group of students left the Lynch School via chartered bus. Their destination was radio station W.H.Y.N. for a broadcast entitled, "Our New School." They described such points of interest as the auditorium, art room, typing room, cafeteria, industrial arts room, and the music room. The moderators were Jack Murphy and Barry Wieder. Others participating were:

James Mahoney, Bobby Hamel, Kathryn Dowling, Joyce Bach, Theresa Flahive, Andrea Protzmann, John O'Connor, Patricia Goss, Judy Flynn, Betty Green, Gretchen Torno, Louise O'Leary, Carol Glesmann, Enid Schwartzwald, David Strawbridge.

Miss Sullivan, Miss Dunn, Miss O'Leary and Mr. Leary prepared this group for the broadcast. The program was relayed to all classrooms via the inter-communication system and everyone agreed that it was an excellent broadcast.
