John J. Lynch Junior High School |
Household Arts
In a beautiful setting, the girls of the John J. Lynch receive instruction in the art of homemaking. The foods laboratory, fully equipped with every modern facility, is a beehive of activity. Food, its vitamin content and its preparation is studied. The students also learn proper table appointments, how to serve food, and how to be gracious hostesses. The clothing laboratory is a delightful room. Here the girls learn to become skilled seamstresses. They also study the various types of materials and their proper care.
