Pursuit of the cultural activities is not neglected. In music classes we learn to appreciate the best in music and the joys of chorus singing. A choir of selected voices receives special training. A group of sixty prospective musicians receive instruction and practice in the school band. In art classes we study the great masterpieces of the world. Through correlation with the social studies, activity work becomes more meaningful and interesting. That careful instruction is offered is evidenced by the exceptional work to be found in this yearbook.
