Mathematics Class

A review of fundamentals, a study of decimals and the steps in percentage occupy the interests of boys and girls in Jr. I. In Jr. II, after a review of seventh grade work the mathematicians develop their skill by problems work in discount, profit and loss, commission, interest, insurance and taxes. Denominate numbers, measurement, ratio, proportion and square root lead towards the study of higher mathematics.

In grade nine students have a choice of electing elementary algebra or general mathematics.
