The Master Masons degree was conferred upon two Bro. Fellow Crafts by the Past Masters of the Lodge. This is believed to have been the first Past Masters Night and from the records was a very interesting meeting with an attendance stated as two hundred.
Oct. 10, 1903
Special Communication called for 2:10 P.M. Attendance 150. This was for the purpose of laying the corner stone of the St. Pauls Episcopal Church. A procession was formed and under escort of Springfield Commandery, K. T. and accompanied by other lodges of the 16th District (there being about 350 in line) proceeded to the site and suitably laid the corner stone in due and ancient form.
