"By-laws amended to make fees $50.00, dues $5.00, Life Membership
$75.00, exempt from dues after having paid dues for 40 years Building Fund. The following motion was made, seconded and carried: -- The Treasurer shall pay monthly into the hands of the Trustees, fifteen dollars for every candidate who has received the Master Masons degree. He shall also pay into the hands of the Trustees at the end the Masonic year, two-fifths of all the money received for dues. This money shall be known as the Building Fund. The Trustees shall at annual meeting submit a statement showing in detail balance on hand one year previous, amount received and disbursed during preceeding year and balance on hand to date. Any portion of the Building Fund may be disbursed to purchase stock in the Holyoke Masonic Building Assn. by a majority vote of the members present and voting,
notice of each vote having been mailed to each member at least two weeks before the meeting. The Trustees' warrant for payment shall be a copy of such vote signed by the Secretary and Master." Attendance at this meeting was 161.

"Voted that committees' reports be attached to the applications and both read previous to ballot." This has been done ever since and gives members present a re-reading of the application with its detail of information which the member may not have remembered from the previous month or more before, or he may not have been present when application was first read.
July 5, 1912
Voted that 100 Shares of Holyoke Masonic Assn. stock be purchased for $1,000.00.
