85th Anniversary.
Lodge was opened at 5:30 P. M. attendance 208. The Craft repaired to the auditorium where a banquet was served to 130 Masons. After the dinner the Wor. Master introduced R. W. Robert Gillette as toastmaster who after stating the occasion was not only the 85th birthday party, but was for the purpose of paying homage to the Most Worshipful Grand Master, Claude L. Allen, and his suite and also to honor certain members of the Lodge who had been members for fifty years. The Past Masters of the Lodge were introduced also the veterans and members of the Grand Lodge, after which R. W. Brooks gave a short history of the Lodge. Following the banquet the brethren returned to the lodge room. R. W. Bro. Brooks introduced the Grand Master who then introduced a large and distinguished suite the names of whom are recorded in the records. The Grand Master assumed the East and gave a very interesting address after which he presented fifty year medals to Brothers William J. Crosier, William Henderson and John Leishmann who were present. Brothers William S. Beeching, George W. Cellins and George R. Stalker were unable to be present and the Grand Master instructed R. W. David Glassford, D. D. G. Master of the Holyoke 17th district to present these brothers with their medals. The Grand Master stated he had never seen such a beautiful Lodge room. A reception line was formed and all had an opportunity of meeting the Grand Officers.

R. W. David Glassford made a fraternal visit to the Lodge. After the usual introductions the Wor. Master announced that the Master Masons degree would be conferred on Charles Milton Gillette and that his father, R. W. Robert Gillette would confer the second and third sections.
