ARTHUR JEROME FINNERTY

"Art" is the sort of a fellow that always has a good word for everyone. That's probably the secret of his many friends. "Art" can always be found setting up type in the shop room. He came in mighty handy to print ticket programs for different activities. Whenever you hear giggles or see grins "Art" is somewhere about.

CHARLES ARNOLD FISHER

This class has good reason to expect great things from Charles (the future Thomas Edison) as he is a most unusual boy in many respects. He has come up with many wonderful ideas that are bound to make him world-known. We were all highly amused in the seventh grade when he brought a canteen of water to school to save trips co the fountain. This is, of course, only a sample of the things Charlie has done while here. But no one can deny that he has a good head on his shoulders and will someday make a name for himself.

JOHN THOMAS FLAHIVE

"Jackie" has a dry sense of humor, a quick flashing smile, and always managed to be one of our honor students. He took part in several of the various sports here at Metcalf, and this was one of the main reasons for his popularity. Yes, "Jackie" was definitely a friend to everyone!

WILLIAM NICHOLAS FLITTNER

"Bill" is a tall, blond, nice — looking person who is a big figure around the school. He goes in for model airplane building and he is one of the mainstays of the bass section in chorus. His favorite sport was basketball, and he certainly developed into quite a player here at Metcalf. "Bill" was a great handy man for teacher, too, being an expert in handling audio-visual aids.
