Francis King
Francis King
A.A., French, Math., Phi Alpha.
"Frank has made himself famous for many things during his course in H. H. S. Not only was he chairman of the committee which conducted the most successful dance Le Cercle Francais has ever run, but he has also shown himself to have no mean intellect regarding the sciences. "Frank" has the best personality of any boy we know.
"Frank by name, and Frank by nature." — Anon.
William Kisiel
A.A., Math., Phi Alpha.
Although "Bill" is not the most prominent member of the class, yet he unknowingly contributes much to it. His patience, persistence and faithfulness have often guided others to better work. The fellows have found him a good friend and a willing sharer in their joys. He appreciates good fun as much as the rest of them, although, perhaps, he does not show it so much.
"Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well." — Chesterfield.
Franklin Knight
Franklin Knight
French, Math., Classical, Phi Alpha.
We all expect Franklin to be hailed in the near future as the greatest violinist of the day. The few occasions when Franklin has played in auditorium have convinced us of his wonderful talent. We know that Franklin did not apply himself to his studies with the same zeal he showed toward his music, but then, he is a very successfuyl survivor.
    "Cunning in music." — Shakespeare.
Edward Lenz
A.A., Phi Alpha.
Who doesn't know "Eddie" Lenz? If you don't know him you've at least heard of him. "Eddie" entered the "Hall of Fame" this year by pitching a no-hit, no-run game against Chicopee. Besides being a star pitcher, "Eddie" is a good all-round fellow.
"Here is one who entered the Hall of Fame
    By pitching a no-hit, no-run game." — Donahue.
Robert LePoer
Robert LePoer
A.A., French, Math., Phi Alpha.
"Bob" might be small, but no one was big enough to keep him off the football team. "Bob" surely win fame as a halfback on that squad. His athletic ability isn't his only good quality, for he is one of our best-natured boys. No one ever saw him without being impressed by his continued cheerfulness. Then, too, "Bob" has graciously entertained our clubs by rendering solos and imitating birds and animals.
"Earnestness and sport are often neighbors."
