LILLIAN R. DESMOND Lillian, who came to Holyoke High from the Joseph Metcalf Junior High School, is a member of the Rooters' Club and the A Capella Choir. Her favorite pastimes include playing basketball, ice skating, and horseback riding. She has been enrolled in the Commercial Course. Her future plans are undecided. |

JEAN L. DILLON "Jeannie" was a graduate of Highland Junior High School. Jean is a pretty and appealing girl and served on the Student Council for two years. She was an ardent member of the Rooters' Club while in high school. She likes sports, especially ping-pong and badminton. Aircraft recognition is Jean's favorite hobby. She studied the General Course and intends to enter Lasell Junior College. |

KATHLEEN F. DONOHUE "Kay" came to Holyoke High as a graduate of the H. B. Lawrence School. She is a proficient tennis player, sings in the Glee Club, and is an enthusiastic member of the Rooters' Club. During her high school career, "Kay" has studied the Commercial Course, and she expects to attend a Business School after graduation. |

JOHN J. DONOVAN "J.D." is a graduate of Highland Junior High School and chose the General Course for his studies. He was a member of the Dramatic Club. "J.D.'s" favorite sport is bowling. When he graduates from school, "J.D." plans to enter the service. |
