Before coming to Holyoke High "Janie" attended the Highland Junior High School. Her hobby is collecting records and dancing. Knitting takes up her leisure time. To those who know her best, she personifies the friendly, jovial, carefree attitude of an ideal high school girl. "Janie" plans to continue with her schooling upon graduation.

"Fran", who studied a College Course, came to us from Mater Dolorosa. His favorite sports are base- ball and basketball. Music is his hobby. He is also a member of the Music Club. "Fran" plans to attend college after graduation.

Ambitious "Jenny", a graduate of the Mater Dolorosa School, and a popular student at Holyoke High, has devoted a great deal of her time to The Herald. She has been connected for three years with the business staff of this paper as bookkeeper. Her willing co-operation on the Yearbook Staff has been very much appreciated. She enjoys such sports as dancing, swimming, bowling, and skating. An outstanding Commercial student, "Jenny" plans to do secretarial work after graduation.

PHYLLIS ANN PASH

"Phil" completed her elementary studies at the H. B. Lawrence and when it came to choosing a school where she would make the most progress, she chose Holyoke High. Her hobbies are dancing and bowling. "Phil" will go to great lengths to keep a promise, being of a dependable nature. A pleasant mixture of all that is desirable in a friend will surely help her to succeed in her ambition to do secretarial work. Baby Picture.
