Under the direction of our coach, Mr. Hiersche, the Lynch team brought great honor to our school by defeating Springfield Cathedral Freshmen by a score of 42 to 40 in the finals of the Western Massachusetts tournament. Two trophies are on display in our school to signify this great achievement. Alan Hurlburt was high scorer for the season, averaging over fifteen points per game. Captain "Bob" Hamel was second with an average of over nine points per game. "Ken" Lubold, "Will" Beaudry, "Jim" Dupuis, and "Tommy" Roberts also played well throughout the year.
It was a very successful season, and naturally we are all proud of "THE TEAM"
