Household Arts

In a beautiful, home-like setting, the girls of the John J. Lynch School receive instruction on the art of homemaking.

The foods laboratory, fully equipped with every modern facility, is a beehive of activity. Foods, their vitamin content, and their preparation are studies, The students also learn proper table appointments, how to serve food, and how to be a gracious hostess.

The clothing laboratory is a delightful room. Here the girls learn to become skilled seamstresses. They also study the various types of materials and their proper care.
