Social Studies

What can be more fascinating than the study of the world and its people?

The topography of the earth and its influence on the people absorb the interest of JR. I classes. JR. II classes, through the study of American History, learn of our glorious heritage, our heroes and the true meaning of what we must live up to when we say "The American Way". From this study we then consider ancient history when we are impressed with the fact that human nature does not change and our real heritage is ancient and world wide. In civics classes the boys and girls learn about good government, how it operates, and how much depends upon our being first good school citizens, and then citizens of the community, the nation and the world.
