BARBARA ANN GOLDEN

"Babs" entered Metcalf from the Blessed Sacrament School. Because of her great popularity, Barbara was elected secretary of the graduating class of 1951. During her stay at Metcalf, Babs participated in most of the school activities. By popular vote, she was elected one of our peppy cheer-leaders, and always put her heart into spurring our team on to victory.

NANCE JOAN GRANDCHAMP

You hear a laugh—you see a crowd-and in the middle you see Nance. Since Nance came to Metcalf she has always been in the midst of all that's happening. She is prominent in all school activities, which include being leader of our majorettes, and a cheerleader. Her intellectual ability was proven as co-editor of the Metcalf News, a member of the Editorial Board of the Annual, and a charter member of the National Junior Honor Society. Being a "Life of the party girl," Nance certainly helped to make our school parties and dance a big success.

LEWIS BENJAMIN GREEN

"Lewie" has spent but two years at Metcalf and has made up for the year he missed in a big way. His name has been on the honor roll ever since he arrived, he proved his popularity by being chosen as a candidate for the office of class treasurer. Small fellow with a big voice is the way we remember Lewie. He distinguished himself on the Student Council and in many school assemblies.

HOWARD JOHN GREENBERG

"Chet" in a teasing but pleasing manner was popular with the boys as well as the girls. He was an accomplished trumpet player [Harry James, the second] and played in our school orchestra. A basketball player, Chet helped to win many games. We are sure our world will be much brighter when Chet becomes a first class electrician!
