EVERETTE DAVID HINKLEY

A boy with a grin for everyone and a very mellow voice, is our friend David. He has a pleasing personality and a good-natured disposition which have gained him friends among the girls as well as the boys. We shall never forget the display of his talent in the Halloween Minstrel. He also was helpful in collecting money for the March of Dimes by being a player on the "Masked Flannels" Basketball team. Besides all these outside activities David has managed to keep his name on the honor roll.

CONSTANCE PEARL HOULE

Any time you heard a gay, infectious laugh, no matter where you were, it would remind you of "Connie." Her pep, vim and vigor enlivened the entire school. She was one of our enthusiastic cheerleaders and also found time for many out-door sports, especially baseball.

SHIRLEY ANN JECKER

One of the class's most attractive smiles belongs to Shirley. Ever since her arrival, her magnetic personality has made her one of Metcalf's best liked girls. Showing her pep and vitality, "Shirley" was one of the active majorettes. She has made contributions to the Metcalf News and has entertained us with her golden voice in a few of the assemblies. Shirley's three years at Metcalf have been most successful.

JAMES EDWARD KANE

Besides being one of our top honor students, Jimmy also took an active part in the various school activities. "Jim" was known throughout the school for his marvelous trumpet playing which will someday earn him the title of "Harry James" the second. In recognition of his services to the school and his high marks. James was elected to the National Honor Society.
