ARTHUR JAMES LYLE

"Jimmy," as he was more commonly called by all his friends' has charming manners and a very attractive personality. "Jimmy" excels in sports and proved his great athletic ability by being chosen co-captain of our Varsity Team. He was active in many of the extra curricular activities around Metcalf and displayed his writing ability in his own sports column of the Metcalf News.

STANLEY JOSEPH MALEK

"Stashie" is another good example of that old saying, "Good things come in small packages." Being small just hasn't stopped "Stash"; he keeps right on going and intends to make something of himself, which is one of the reasons we're so proud of him. "Stash" was often seen blowing his trumpet at our assemblies, and we have no doubt that he will blow his way to a successful career.

DONALD JOHN MATHIESON

"Don's" quiet personality and winning smile have made him well-liked by all his fellow students. Everyone knows of "Don's" affection and devotion for dogs. We will always remember him as one of the faithful and efficient guardians of the "Stars and Stripes" which fluttered proudly in front of our school during every school day. Don is an industrious worker, and undoubtedly his many good qualities will be of great value to him in future years.

WANDA ALENE McCART

"Wanda" came to us all the way from Oakland, California, in 1949. Although she was one of the quieter members of our class, her presence at school dances proved she enjoys a good time and likes dancing. Movies are another favorite pastime of "Wanda's" Whenever you saw her in the corridors of Metcalf. "Wanda" always had a cheery smile and a big "Hi!" for everyone. What comes after high school no one knows, but whatever it may be we're sure "Wanda" will make a go of it!
