Dancing

Dancing

In our first dancing lesson, we were introduced to the two step. That night we all went home and practiced it in the hope of becoming a second "Ginger Rogers" or "Fred Astaire." Before long we learned the rumba, conga, polka, and were quite expert with the fox trots and waltzes Just as in everything else, there was a definite purpose behind our dancing classes. We all felt that at sometime or other there might be an occasion where the ability to dance would be an ad vantage. That's where our parties come in; through them we are given an excellent opportunity to practise all that we had learned in dancing class Since we were all pretty clumsy, we were willing to over look each others mistakes and sore toes. All in all, our dancing classes were a lot of fun and all wonderful experience for all of us, and we are grateful to Mr. O'Brien for his interest and patience.
