Secretaries
The Lodge has had thirty-two secretaries. The records for the hundred years are complete. While the penmanship has been good and not so good, none can be classed as really bad. Some records are hard to read but due more to the fading of the ink than to the really bad penmanship. The really long years in service are confined to three.
John F. Bronson was secretary from 1892 through 1909 — eighteen years. Herbert C. Rose served three years then "went through the chairs" and later served nine years. Robert Gillette was elected Nov. 1, 1928 and has served twenty-two years.
