Tyler

Most of the hundred years of Tyler has been covered by four officers whose combined service equaled eighty-three years.

Wor. N. W. Quint, a charter member was appointed Nov. 16, 1859 and served until Nov. 2, 1895. He was in office thirty-six years. He died May 23, 1897.

Bro. Robert Lade was appointed Nov. 2, 1895 and served until Nov. 19, 1907 — twelve years. He died June 7, 1911. He was janitor for several years. Wor. Lewis M. Richards was appointed Nov. 19, 1907 and was in office at the time of his death, Dec. 10, 1917.

Walter P. Crosby was appointed April 5, 1918 and served until Oct. 1, 1943 — twenty-five years.

Our present Tyler; Wilfred Reed, was appointed Oct. 5, 1945 and we hope he will be with us for many years to come.
