Organist Bro. Thomas C. Auld was appointed Nov.30, 1906 and served until his death, Sept. 23, 1945 — thirty-nine years. He was b&yond doubt one of the outstanding organists in Western Massachusetts. It was an inspiration to hear him play and his fame extended far beyond the confines of the city.
